Dive into my Story

Get to know me

Kia ora my name is KAlyn

This is me and my tāne at a sports prizegiving.

One of the rare moments I’m in front of the camera — I’m usually behind it.

I do love a dress-up here and there, but more than anything, I understand how much people value feeling like the best version of themselves.

That’s why I take care in what I create — to protect the mana in every story.

This is where it started.

Kapa haka was one of the first places I found a real sense of identity — being surrounded by culture, whānau, and something bigger than myself.

It taught me pride, discipline, and how to show up with purpose.

Those early experiences shaped the way I see people, community, and storytelling today.

Sport became a big part of my life.

played every sport growing up — I was pretty naughty so mum had to find me something to stay occupied

Early mornings, trainings, games, learning how to push through and show up even when you don’t feel like it.

It built discipline, resilience, and a strong mindset that’s stayed with me ever since.

High performance taught me something bigger.

I learned how to show up, stay disciplined, and push past limits.

But it also taught me that growth doesn’t stop at one identity.

So I chose to evolve.

That’s where creating and storytelling came into my life.

When you get injured then what ?

This is where it’s led me.

I now have my own media company as a visual storyteller, creating content that reflects identity, culture, and impact.

My background in high performance and discipline carries into every project — how I work, how I connect, and how I deliver.

For me, it’s not just about visuals.

It’s about telling stories in a way that feels honest, grounded, and meaningful.
